Office Manager, Treatment Coordinator, and Orthodontic Assistant

I enjoy meeting new people in the community I live in. People come to us because we provide the best care and create the best smiles, all in a friendly environment. I meet with patients and their parents at their new-patient exam. I explain orthodontic treatment and answer questions. I also review financials and payment options.

My husband and I have been married for more than 20 years. We have two daughters who are both dancers. Our family enjoys watching football and baseball.

Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator

I love watching each patient grow, change, and become more confident as the teeth straighten. It’s an amazing process and I get to see it every day! I manage our Magnolia office and handle a lot of tasks. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day aspects of running things, I also coordinate treatment. I’m also our insurance coordinator, and provide chairside assistance, too.

Born and raised in Houston, I’ve lived in this area for more than 15 years. My husband Al and I have been happily married for almost 30 years. We have two children, both now in college. I love to spend my days off with my family or in the sunshine, by the water.

Orthodontic Assistant

I enjoy working with such a great staff here at Mouritsen Orthodontics. Everyone is a lot of fun to be around. My job entails assisting the doctors with patients, taking X-rays, and sterilizing instruments at our Spring office location. I have been in the dental field since 2007 and I absolutely love helping patients get the smile they have always wanted.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my son and family.

Erika

Orthodontic Assistant

I enjoy working with and building friendships with our patients. It’s incredible to see them become happier as a result of their new smile. I assist the doctor with orthodontic procedures, including placing braces and adjustments. I also teach patients how to care for their appliances and braces. In addition, I sterilize instruments and take X-rays and impressions.

I’m happily married and have two children, as well as a young grandson. I love spending time with my family and traveling. We spend a lot of time at our son’s baseball games.

Jessica

Orthodontic Assistant

I have worked in orthodontics since 2004, to assist with placing, adjusting, and removing our patients’ braces. I enjoy knowing that I play a part in our patients’ smile transformations. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the smiles on our patients’ faces when treatment is over and they love their smile.

My husband and I have two kids and two dogs: a Beagle and a Golden Retriever. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and traveling.
